On a quiet afternoon - we decided to visit a local little pond. The winds were still. The sun baked our skin. The water was quiet. Dragonflies darted to and fro skimming the water and dive bombing the cat tails. Bees lazily buzzed a serene song. It was perfect and peaceful - a joyful jaunt from everyday junk.
Even the weeds were beautiful.
What a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Still. Quiet. Sunshine. Waters. While the kids laughed and splashed and played in the water, I enjoyed a delicious book.
